Born in Kent, in the UK, Claire qualified at St George’s Medical School in Tooting, South West London in 2000. She came to Melbourne in 2004 to work for just a year in Emergency medicine before planning to return to train as an Aged Care doctor…but Claire fell in love with the Australian way of life and stayed on, later becoming a citizen! She finally realised hospital life wasn’t for her and so moved to the Sunshine Coast and retrained as a GP….by far the best 2 decisions she’s ever made! Having trained in Pomona and Cooroy, Claire loves this area of the Coast and enjoys the varied aspects of General Practice. She loves the “cradle to grave” approach, providing continuity of care as well as establishing a group of patients who she enjoys forming a relationship with; to advocate for and navigate through life’s challenges. Sally

Medical Receptionist

Sally had fond memories of holidaying in Noosa each year with her mum and sister when she was a teenager, never thinking that one day she would be living here on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. The move came 25 years ago, when Sally and her husband decided to relocate from Brisbane for a better lifestyle.

Until recently, she had been working in the banking industry for over 17 years in client facing customer service and sales roles.

Sally absolutely loves working at NOMC with the amazing team, being able to bring and use her customer service experience and to learn so many new skills in a totally different industry and environment, which she finds rewarding and fulfilling.

Outside of work she is kept busy in her garden and the joys of living on the Sunny Coast.

Forrest

Spoodle pup

We are very blessed to have a Therapy Dog Australia trained spoodle (poodle cross cocker spaniel) called Forrest.

Forrest is a regular to Noosa Outlook Medical Centre.

He is often just sleeping in the clinic- and there is evidence that this, in itself, can reduce your blood pressure and heart rate.

Forrest is intuitive and can sense when patients are sad or distressed.

He is very relaxed and loves nothing more than having his tummy being tickled.

Claire is Forrest’s dog handler (and fur-mum)

He loves runs on the beach and eating lactose free yoghurt for his lunch.
